1. Piccadilly circus, the vibrant heart of the city with its explosion of lights and the nearby elegant Trafalgar Square: the perfect places to start exploring the city!


2. Buckingham Palace: the residence of the Uk Royal Family! Do not miss here the famous Change of the Guard, but to be sure to be there in the right day/time, check when the ceremony takes place


3. The Big Ben and the Parliament, one of the symbol of London! Apart from the iconic photos of the external, the Parliament surely deserves a visit also inside!


4. For an amazing 360° view of the city from the above try the London Eye, the highest panoramic ferris wheel in Europe!


5. Enjoy a musical show in one of the many theaters: our suggestion? the Phantom of the Opera, a touching love story!


6. The awesome Westminster Abbey as well as St. Paul Cathedral! Both churches have spectacular interiors and from St. Paul you can see also one of the best views on the city from the above!


7. The majestic and huge Tower of London (a fortress composed of several buildings: here you can admire the Crown Jewels and an impressive collection of Royal armors!) Do not forget to take a shot of the nearby Tower Bridge, another icon of London!


8. Enjoy a relaxing walk or some peaceful rest in St. James Park or in Hide Park: very good places also to see squirrels


9. Cultural time: the British Museum (free entrance) with its huge collection of world artefacts, including the Parthenon sculptures, the National Gallery with its rich collection of paintings, the Tate Gallery for the lovers of modern art and the interesting Natural History Museum


10. Getting lost in the eclectic Covent Garden neighborhood, famous for its cultural and artistic life, the several theaters as well as its traditional market, street food and many little stores


One last travel tip: the best places for Shopping? Harrods, Liberty, Regent Street, Covent Garden and for the luxury brands Bond Street!

Cerchi suggerimenti rapidi per pianificare il tuo prossimo viaggio a Londra? Dai un'occhiata alla nostra lista delle 10 cose da non perdere e lasciati inspirare!


1.Piccadilly circus, il cuore vibrante della città con la sua esplosione di luci e la vicina elegante Trafalgar Square: i luoghi perfetti per iniziare ad esplorare la città!


2. Buckingham Palace: la residenza della famiglia reale britannica! Non perdere il famoso Cambio della Guardia, ma per essere sicuro di essere lì nel giorno e orario giusto, controlla quando si svolge la cerimonia.


3. Il Big Ben e il Parlamento, uno dei simboli di Londra! A parte le foto obbligatorie dell'esterno, merita sicuramente una visita anche l'interno; ci sono oltre 1000 stanze (ovviamente non tutte visatibili!) delle quali le più interessanti sono:

La camera dei Lord il cui colore dominante è il rosso

La camera dei Comuni il cui colore dominante è il verde

Anche altri parlamenti degli stati di Commonwealth (ad esempio l'Australia) adottano questo schema per cui la camera bassa è associata al verde e quella alta al rosso.


4. Per una straordinaria vista a 360 gradi sulla città dall'alto, sali sul London Eye, la ruota panoramica più alta d'Europa!


5. Vedere un musical in uno dei tanti teatri: noi abbiamo visto il Fantasma dell'Opera, una romantica storia d'amore!


6. L’Abbazia di Westminster e la Cattedrale di St. Paul! Entrambe le chiese hanno interni spettacolari e dalla cima di St. Paul si può vedere anche una delle migliori viste sulla città dall'alto!


7. La maestosa ed enorme Torre di Londra (una fortezza composta da più edifici: ospita, oltre ad altri, i Gioielli della Corona e una collezione di armature reali!). Non dimenticatevi di andare a scattare una foto del vicino Tower Bridge, un’altra icona di Londra!


8. Fate una passeggiata rilassante o riposatevi a St. James Park e aHide Park: ottimi posti anche per vedere gli scoiattoli


9. Cultural time: il British Museum (ingresso gratuito) con la sua vasta collezione di reperti archeologici e opere d'arte, la National Gallery con la sua ricca collezione di dipinti, la Tate Gallery per gli amanti dell'arte moderna e l'interessante Natural History Museum


10. Perdersi nell'eclettico quartiere di Covent Garden, famoso per la sua vita culturale e artistica, i numerosi teatri, il suo mercato tradizionale, il cibo di strada e tanti piccoli negozi
