1. Driving along the scenic routes on the Gorges du Verdon enjoying its numerous breathtaking views: the most famous is the Routes des Crétes (drive in clockwise direction otherwise at the middle you need to come back! ) but don't miss also the Corniche Sublime on the South of the canyon as well as the North route until you rich Point Sublime
2. Observing the majestic Griffon Vultures flying across the Gorges du Verdon from the several lookout along the Routes des Crétes
3. Exploring one of the numerous foothpaths on the Gorges du Verdon... some ideas? Try the Martel path (very impressive but quite long: 6-7 hours and only for experienced walkers) or the Couloir Samson, a quite easy walk of a just couple of hours until the Verdon river up to the bottom of the canyon
4. Only for the braves: an adventurous rafting experience on the Verdon river starting from the village of Castellane!
5. The crystal clear Sainte Croix Lake... the best place to start the exploration of the lake is Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon or Bauduen where you can rent a little boat or just walking or sunbathing on the green lake bank!
6. Wandering in the alleys of the colorful village of Sainte-Croix-de-Verdon with some scenic overlooks on the lake
7. Don' t miss the panoramic route from St. Croix Lake to Moustiers-Sainte-Marie for an amazing view on the lake and to see the fields of lavander (between the end of June - mid July)
8. The pictoresque village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie: here it surely deserves the effort the uphill walk until the Chapel of Notre Dame de Beauvoir: from there the view is wonderful, especially at sunset!
9. Approximately 150km from Verdon, the majestic Pont du Gard, …the 3 level Roman acqueduct bridge on the Gardon River: did you know that it appears on the 5 euro? This is a perfect stop before arriving or coming back from the Gorges du Verdon

The top 10 series: Gole del Verdon
Cerchi dei suggerimenti per pianificare il tuo prossimo viaggio nel Verdon? Dai un'occhiata allenostra lista delle 10 cose da non perdere e lasciati inspirare:
1. Ammirare i numerosi panorami mozzafiato sul canyon percorrendo le strade panoramiche sulle Gole del Verdon: il percorso più famoso e suggestivo è la Routes des Crétes (guidate in senso orario altrimenti a metà è necessario tornare indietro!) Da non perdere anche la strada panoramica della Corniche Sublime lungo il sud del canyon e il percorso a nord fino a Point Sublime.
2. Osservare i maestosi rapaci (Griffon Vultures) che volano sulle gole del canyon, dai numerosi belvedere lungo la Routes des Crétes
3. Una passeggiata in uno dei numerosi sentieri delle Gole del Verdon ... in particolare da Point Sublime parte il sentiero Martel (molto suggestivo ma lungo: 6-7 ore e solo per escursionisti esperti) o il Couloir Samson, una camminata abbastanza facile di un paio d'ore fino al fiume Verdon sul fondo del canyon
4. Solo per i più coraggiosi: fare rafting sul fiume Verdon partendo dal paese di Castellane!
5. Il cristallino lago di Sainte Croix ... il posto migliore per iniziare ad esplorare il lago è Sainte-Croix-du-Verdon o Bauduen dove si può noleggiare una piccola barca o semplicemente passeggiare o prendere il sole sulla riva del lago!
6. Girovagare nei vicoletti del colorato villaggio di Sainte-Croix-de-Verdon con vista sul lago
7. Da non perdere la strada panoramica dal lago di St. Croix fino a Moustiers-Sainte-Marie per una splendida vista sul lago e per vedere i campi di lavanda fioriti tra la fine di giugno e la metà di luglio!
8. Il pittoresco villaggio di Moustiers-Sainte-Marie: qui merita sicuramente la salita fino alla Cappella di Notre Dame de Beauvoir: da lì il panorama è stupendo, soprattutto al tramonto!
9. A circa 150 km da Verdon, il maestoso Pont du Gard,… l’acquedotto romano su 3 livelli sul fiume Gardon: lo sapevate che compare sui 5 euro? Questa è una tappa perfetta prima di arrivare o tornare dalle Gole del Verdon
